Module 1: The Genesis of Generative AI. Where It All Began.

Section 1: What is Generative AI?

  • Generative AI: It’s not just tech. It’s a creative powerhouse. A branch of artificial intelligence that doesn’t just analyze the world—it creates. This tech can whip up new content, from realistic art to human-sounding conversations, faster than most people can think of it.
  • Why It’s Different: Where traditional AI detects and predicts, generative AI produces. Think of it as the difference between a mirror and a forge. This AI doesn’t just reflect reality; it builds something new.

Section 2: A Quick (and Unfiltered) History

  • The Beginnings: Back in the day, AI was a tool to solve calculations and crunch data. Generative AI flipped that on its head, aiming to mimic, even exceed, human creativity.
  • Breakthrough Moments:
    • GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) – 2014. The innovation that started it all. A genius way of training AI to create by having two models face off: one creates, the other criticizes. It’s a rivalry that produces near-flawless results.
    • Transformers & GPT Models: Fast-forward to 2018. GPT and transformers made generative AI faster, smarter, and less limited by data size. Now we’re talking text, images, music, and beyond.
    • 2020s and Beyond: The rise of tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E brought generative AI into the mainstream. These tools don’t just serve industries; they’re changing how people interact, create, and live daily.

Section 3: Generative AI’s Greatest Hits

  • Text: GPT (like ChatGPT) that can draft, rewrite, and reimagine content—faster than any writer, without breaking a sweat.
  • Images: DALL-E and similar models that generate art, product mockups, and more. The potential for design, branding, and storytelling is limitless.
  • Voice & Music: AI that creates voice clones, original music, and audio editing. It’s the new secret weapon in sound production.
  • Innovation & Beyond: Medicine, gaming, architecture—generative AI is kicking down doors everywhere. Imagine designing entire cities or creating drugs that save lives. This isn’t just science fiction; it’s happening now.

Wrap-Up

  • Key Takeaway: Generative AI isn’t just a tool, it’s a revolution. It’s tech that’s built to create, to innovate, and to redefine boundaries. And for those ready to learn, it’s opening up possibilities no one saw coming.

Level Up Your Productivity With Any.do’s AI

What’s up?

Aye, look, you’re busy. Between work, side hustles, gym sessions, and attempting to have a life, managing tasks feels like balancing a ticking time bomb. That’s where Any.do steps in, powered by AI, ready to streamline your chaos into order.

It’s not just about adding to-do lists anymore. This is next-gen task management. We’re talking tasks that practically organize themselves, thanks to the magic of AI. Let me break it down for you real quick

The Power of Task Generation

Any.do’s AI isn’t here to just sit pretty. You tell it what needs to get done, and it’s going to do more than just add it to a list. You’re getting task suggestions, reminders, and priority ranking to get you moving.

Action Step: Start by feeding it your basic to-do. For example, you say, “write UX content for xyz,” and boom! It’s pretty close to what I do with my day job, so trust me on this one.  The AI will generate sub-tasks: brainstorming, creating marketing assets, reaching out to influencers. It’s like having an assistant that knows what you need without telling it what you need.

Prioritize. Prioritize.

Everything feels important when you have 50-11 things to juggle. But let’s be real not all tasks are created equal. If my ADHD having ass can figure this out, so can you.  Any.do’s AI helps you sift through that noise, highlighting what really needs your attention today, tomorrow, and what can chill for a week.

Action Step: Set deadlines, and let the AI auto-prioritize your tasks. No more wasting time deciding what to tackle first. Any.do’s got your back with color-coded task urgency, so you’ll know what’s critical without breaking a sweat.

Almost Stress-Free Organization

Notice I said almost because there’s no such thing as a stress-free anything. It’s mostly marketing jargon. But follow me. This is where Any.do does its thing. The AI does the heavy lifting for you, automatically categorizing tasks based on projects, due dates, or even locations.

Action Step: Use tags, folders, or smart lists.

NSYNC? No, in Sync.

I had to throw an Xennial dad joke in there to break up the tension. But Any.do makes sure that everything shows up across all of your devices. So, whether you’re running between meetings or lounging on your couch, your tasks are always in sync.

Action Step: Connect your app across platforms.

Delegate Like a CEO

I’m talking to myself as well as y’all, but a lesson a hard lesson I’ve learned in leadership is that you can’t do everything yourself. Any.do makes delegating tasks smoother than butter. Share tasks with your team or your friends, assign due dates, and watch the magic unfold.

Action Step: Start assigning tasks to your squad. You’re the orchestrator, the visionary, but Any.do is the backbone keeping it all on track. Delegate with precision, and let the AI keep tabs on who’s doing what.

Ok, Wrap it Up

Any.do isn’t just a task app, it’s a personal productivity beast. With AI driving the ship, you’re not just staying on top of tasks, you’re *dominating* them. Prioritize, delegate, and crush deadlines like you own the world. Since you’ve got your shit together after wards, you just might.

Level Up Your Content Game with AI Tools Like ChatGPT and Jasper

What’s up? Let’s talk about something that’s transforming the content game still: AI writing tools. ChatGPT and Jasper come to mind.  If you have too much to handle or a deadline coming up, these tools might be the backup you didn’t know you needed.

Kicking Writer’s Block to the Curb

I’m a writer at heart. Hell, I’ve even written a book or two. But you know what I’ve hated and still do till this day? Writer’s block.  We’ve all faced that dreaded blank page, waiting for inspiration to hit. It’s like “Damn, am I dumb or something? Is my brain offline?” It sucks.  But what if you had a partner to bounce around with? That’s where tools like ChatGPT come in.  You throw it a topic and boom, now you have multiple angles to work with. You have an idea generator on call 24/7. For free. And it doesn’t complain.

From Outline to Full Draft in No Time

Expanding on outlines can be a pain too. But Jasper can help with that. It can take that rough draft and polish it a little bit. It’s like having a co-writer who helps but never wants to steal the credit.

Speeding Up Research

Research can be a time sink, but ChatGPT has your back here, too.  Need a quick summary of a complex topic? Or better yet, need someone to ELI5 (Explain it like I’m 5)? It’s got you covered. It’s a good starting point but be sure to double-check all your facts since AI isn’t perfect

Switching Up Your Writing Style with Ease

Sometimes your boss will hit you up with requests for different content. One minute it’s a business proposal, and the next minute it’s a casual blog post or hell, even a Reddit post. AI can copy styles like Kakashi, making sure your content hits the right notes for your target audience.

A Helping Hand in the Editing Process

At this point in the game, AI won’t replace a human editor, but it’s helpful in catching the smaller mistakes before you have to holla at your editor. You save money and your editor gets saved a headache.

A Creative Assistant, Not a Replacement

I’ve told plenty of people this before and I’ll tell y’all here. These tools aren’t here to replace your creativity, they’re here to help with it. They give you more time to focus on what really matters: crafting your unique voice and building out your ideas. It’s all about using them as a tool, not a crutch.

Ok, Wrap It Up

Whether you’re a content creator feeling the crunch of deadlines, or someone who just wants to work a little smarter, these tools can be a real game-changer. Just think of them as your always-on assistant in your pocket.

In the end, it’s still all about what you put into your content and AI can’t change that.  It just helps you get there faster and with less stress.

How to Set Up AI In Your Pocket

Let’s go ahead and dive into AI-powered personal assistants without getting too techy. Set up is easier than you think and can up your productivity game.

First Things First

You’ll need to decide which team you’re on. If you’re Team Apple, then you roll with Siri. Team Android rolls with Google Assistant, and Gemini to a certain degree since it doesn’t do everything yet, and when Samsung cared, you got to roll with Bixby.  Team Amazon, yea, that Amazon that delivers packages, has Alexa. She even plays on Android.

What’s Next

Hit the home button to wake Siri up or just say “Hey Siri.” The Google Squad wakes up by holding the home button or saying “Ok Google” or “Hey Google” and Alexa has her own button to push.

Whichever one you choose, you’ll need to link it to your accounts. This is where the magic happens. Connect your calendar, email, music streaming service, and whatever else floats your boat. The more you connect, the more your assistant can do for you.

Personalize It? Yep.

Now, let’s talk about making your assistant truly yours. Spend some time teaching it your preferences. Like your favorite pizza joint, your go-to playlist for workouts, or your preferred route to work. The more it knows about you, the better it can serve you.

Now, let’s go ahead and make it truly yours. It requires data. Yes, the same data that you’re protective over. That you constantly battle with. The same one that you hear about that’s been compromised every other day in the “news.” You need it.  Spend some time working with your assistant, teaching it your preferences.  What’s your favorite restaurant? Let Siri know.  You got a favorite dish? Let Google Assistant or Gemini know.  Got a favorite show on Amazon Video Prime? Alexa.

Remember, these assistants are pretty smart, but they’re not mind readers). So, don’t be shy about telling them exactly what you want. Be specific, be clear, and don’t be afraid to rephrase if they don’t get it the first time.

Fun?

Yep, you can have fun with them. They do way more than set reminders. You joke with them, play games with them, or they can even help with research. Ok, that’s the blerd in me coming out. But you know what I mean. Just get creative with what you need from them and explore all their features.

It’s not hard to set up your assistant, but it can streamline your life. It’s helped me a lot, especially with my ADHD. I haven’t missed 96% of the birthdays of people I know in years and whenever I get ready to hit the road, it already knows the music I want to hear.

How AI Could Help Taste Buds

I thought to myself, “Justin, if you actually became an AI consultant, who would be a client in an industry you’ve never worked in before?”

I thought and I thought. Then got distract at work. Then thought again. Then..I had it. Bet.

Meet Chef Quinn, boss lady of Taste Buds . I know her from high school and never knew she knew how to cook. Until I took my lil sister to get something to eat from her spot in the Oak Court Mall, when I was in Memphis about a year or two ago.

I asked AI to give me a few ways it could help her out.

  • Recipe Development: AI’s cooking up next-level flavors, and trust me, it’s gonna blow your mind. Bold, innovative, and yeah, it’s like nothing you’ve tasted before—’cause why settle for ordinary? It can also hold on to the tried trues that she already has.
  • Kitchen Operations: She could run her kitchen like a finely-tuned machine. AI’s taking the wheel, streamlining everything. Efficiency? Yep? On God.
  • Food Delivery: If she ever got into food delivery AI could optimize delivery routes like it’s plotting world domination—because when it comes to getting food out on time, she wouldn’t mess around.
  • Advertising Strategies: Data-driven insights? Please. She’d hit targets so precisely you’d think she had spies in her marketing department.
  • Personalized Menu Recommendations: AI knows what you want before you do. Tailored recommendations? We could customize menus based on current favorites.
  • Sales Forecasting: Remember those spies from the marketing department? Yep, AI would have a couple taking care of sales. We’re talking streamlined.
  • Employee Management: Scheduling? Training? AI’s doing it better than a battlefield general or a tech genius.
  • Automated Ordering: Voice commerce is here, and it’s slick. Orders come in faster and smoother than any takeover you’ve seen.
  • Quality Control and Food Safety: AI’s got eyes on every detail, ensuring food quality and safety like it’s protecting the kingdom. Well, it technically is.

Again, I’m not implementing nothing. This is just speculation. I’m still swamped with the day job and wouldn’t jump ship soon. It’s just cool to see how tech can change things.

Sleeping on VR? Here Are A Few Cases to Wake You Up

We talk about AI all the time but people sleep on XR (Extended Reality) especially VR. Here are a few ways VR can help in business. I present to you, a post.

  • Product Design and Prototyping
  • Marketing and Sales
  • Real Estate and Architecture

Product Design and Prototyping

Picture this: you’re in the lab, and instead of fiddling around with sketches or rough drafts, you throw on a VR headset and boom—you’re walking around your next big idea in full 3D. No more waiting to see if your concept actually works; you’re tweaking it in real-time, getting instant feedback, and catching those annoying design flaws before they can even think about becoming a problem. It’s like having your own personal Jarvis, but for design. Faster, smarter, and a whole lot more fun.

Marketing and Sales

Now, let’s talk about the cool stuff—like taking your customers on a ride inside your products. With VR, they’re not just reading specs or seeing photos—they’re fully immersed, exploring your latest and greatest as if it’s already in their hands. That’s how you create a connection, my friend. Brand visibility goes through the roof, customer engagement gets a major upgrade, and you can almost see those sales charts spiking. It’s the kind of experience that leaves a mark.

Real Estate and Architecture

And for the real estate and architecture folks out there—welcome to the future. Hint, this is why I call my company Aeon Futura.

Imagine your clients strolling through a building that hasn’t even been built yet, or a potential buyer virtually checking out a new home without leaving their couch. This isn’t just cutting edge; it’s a whole new blade. Time saved, resources conserved, and decision-making made easier. It’s all about giving people the power to see the big picture—literally.

Ask AF: What’s A GPT

GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer. Think of it as a robot that can write like us, answer questions and even help with research.

They’re trained on huge amounts of data from everywhere.  When you ask questions or give it prompts, it tries to understand what you mean and then uses what it was trained on to predict what to say next.  When it finishes understanding your input, it responds by picking words that make sense together.  Kinda like when you’re on a date and want to make sure you don’t fuck up and say the wrong thing.

You can do some interesting things with them such as asking for homework help, prompts for creative writing and design, getting questions for icebreakers or even help with working out.  The best thing about GPTs is they’re always available, give almost instant answers and tend to hold interesting convos. Well, at least for me because I’m always researching interesting shit.

Got any questions about GPTs or generative AI in general? Hit me up.

Let It Clash: AI Metal

I made this one about three weeks ago. It’s a metal song about Black revolution and empowerment. Save the racist bullshit, I won’t entertain it. Just enjoy how crazy AI music is getting.
